Curriculum 2022

Scientific Vision

Developing biology education through teaching, research, and community services activities by emphasizing local culture and potential, as well as the value of piety, independence, scholarship, to support national development and contribute to solving national and global problems.

Program Objectives

  • PO-1 Graduates excel as Biology Education professionals and lecturers who integrate theoretical foundations with practical applications to advance teaching and learning in higher education.
  • PO-2 Graduates advance Biology Education research by employing appropriate methodologies to investigate and address fundamental objects, issues, and challenges in Biology Education.
  • PO-3 Graduates lead curriculum and instructional development in Biology that reflects curriculum principles, educational dynamics, cultural and local potentials, and workforce demands in national and global contexts.
  • PO-4 Graduates develop innovative ICT-based media and learning materials for Biology education, encompassing digital resources, instructional media, and learning management systems that support effective learning in schools and higher education.

Scientific Vision

The scientific vision of the biology education master's program is "Developing biology education science that promotes local wisdom and potential, integrates digital technology, and is globally oriented through educational innovation, research, and community service, in order to solve biology education problems to support graduates who are excellent, creative, and sustainably innovative."

Study Program Mission

  1. Organizing research-based education and teaching to develop excellent and innovative biology education science.
  2. Conducting biology learning research that highlights local potential, integrates digital technology, and is globally oriented to develop biology education.
  3. Applying research results and innovations in biology learning to help solve biology education problems faced by local, national and global communities.
  4. Building collaboration with various stakeholders at local, national, and global levels for the development of biology education.

Study Program Objectives

  1. Producing graduates who have the competence as excellent creative, innovative academics/lecturers in the field of biology education, ability to use IT and international languages that support learning, and have the potential to continue to doctoral education, as well as develop themselves as academics in a sustainable manner.
  2. Producing graduates who have the competence as researchers of biology education/learning problems who are excellent, creative, innovative, embracing local wisdom and potential but with a global perspective, and are able to publish their results in scientific forums.
  3. Producing graduates who have the competence as excellent, creative, innovative curriculum developers in the field of biology/Biology education that promotes local wisdom and potential but has a global perspective.
  4. Producing graduates who have the competence as developers of biology teaching/learning media and materials who are able to design and produce ICT-based teaching/learning media and materials (including AR/VR/AI technology), both for deep learning, learning media, and Learning Management System (LMS) in biology learning in schools and universities.
  5. Producing innovative works resulting from thinking, research, and community service in the form of published articles in reputable journals, ISBN-registered books, creative works with IPR, and other forms of innovative works.
