Official academic document of the 2025 Curriculum for the Master of Biology Education Study Program, FMIPA Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
Introduction
This academic document serves as the scientific foundation for developing the 2025 Curriculum of the Master of Biology Education Program. The revision aligns with national policies (Permendikbudristek No. 53/2023), the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), tracer study results, and the needs of 21st-century education, including digital integration, entrepreneurship, and sustainability issues.
Vision & Mission (overview)
Program vision:
“To become an internationally recognized Master’s Program in Biology Education that excels in developing educational innovations, advancing biology education research, and implementing community service based on local wisdom, environmental sustainability, and digital transformation”
The mission emphasizes research-based education, digital integration, local potential development, and local–global collaboration to improve graduate quality and scientific publications.
Graduate Learning Outcomes
