Judicium Period July 2019: PPs Biology Student Earns the Best GPA Score

The Postgraduate Program (PPs) UNY routinely holds a judicium every month. For the July 2019 period, the procession was held at the beginning of August (02/08) with 219 participants (the first record with the highest number of participants). Based on existing reports, the number of participants is divided into 30 study programs with the highest GPA achievement of 3.99 on behalf of Fitria Eka Cahya Astuti, S.Pd and Ahmad Naharuddin Ramadhan, S.Pd. Both students are students of the biology education program class of 2017. In addition, the Biology Education Study Program in this Yudisium graduated 16 students with almost all predicates achieved, namely Cum Laude.

The students who achieved the best GPA are alumni of S1 Biology Education FMIPA UNY 2016. Both are willing to give a few tips and tricks to be able to achieve this success, including always focusing and being serious in doing all activities, especially in completing college assignments. Both students are from Yogyakarta, Fitria Eka, S.Pd is from Sleman while Ahmad Naharuddin, S.Pd is from Bantul. They develop themselves by attending various national and international seminars. That way, they will automatically meet experts and lecturers from outside UNY to increase knowledge and networking. Meanwhile, Dr. Sugito, MA, representing the Director of PPs has another agenda at the same time, hoping that PPs UNY alumni can show their achievements and quality, and always develop themselves.

Representative speeches from students who participated in this Yudisium, namely by Kijambu John Baptist who came from Uganda, and class C Biology Education study program class of 2017. In his speech, John was happy to be able to study at Yogyakarta State University and he would always remember and tell his country about his experience living in Indonesia because for him his second home was Indonesia.
